I'm "Positano" that it's Raining

day 108 // sorrento // positano // sorrento

This morning we got to sleep in because the boat to Positano didn't leave until noon. So after getting ready and walking down to the dock in the POURING rain (literally raining cats and dogs - everyone and everything was completely soaked), we boated off to Positano. We were on this super nice boat with drink service and everything, which was good since our ride was about 45 minutes. So when we got to Positano around 1, we quickly found a place to eat and dry off. We chose Chez Black which we later found out is apparently a pretty famous restaurant here. The food awesome and it was right on the water. (And they had wifi, which was much appreciated since our hostel, Seven Hostel, doesn't have wifi.) We had a nice long lunch while we waited for the weather to clear up, then we walked and shopped around. Positano is so gorgeous and so peaceful. It has the cutest little streets and shops and it's definitely one of my favorite places I've been. After walking for a bit we decided to sit down and warm up with a quick cappuccino at a random little bar. Then we continued exploring and even went in some really cool art galleries. Then we went to this smoothie place where I got the best fresh pear-banana smoothie of my entire life before heading back to the dock to take the big, nice boat back to Sorrento. When we got back we had to walk a long ways back to the hostel again, but it wasn't as bad as yesterday for some reason. (Probably because we were all just so exhausted yesterday.) When we got back we went to our rooms and changed before going down to the hostel restaurant for dinner. After dinner we came back to our rooms and we all just hung out and chilled for the rest of the night. We also had to start packing up because we leave early tomorrow morning for Pompeii and we have to be checked out and loaded up on the bus before we go! Here's to the last day of my last trip while abroad!
